Welcome to Cole's Moosehorn Cabins

the way it was!

Cole's Moosehorn Cabins are located on North West Pond (Little Seboeis Lake). Step back in time to "the way it was!" Our lakeside cabins are on Maine Public Reserve land. Our rich history harkens back to a time of Henry David Thoreau when sportsmen would arrive by train from cities to the south. Our cabins are built in the Maine sporting camp tradition and offer comfortable accommodations while hunting, fishing or recreating in this pristine area.

North West Pond has excellent fishing. Fish for trout, perch, salmon, and splake. Canoe onto clear waters and watch the sun set over the Appalachian Mountains and majestic Katahdin in Baxter State Park. View moose, loons, deer and other native Maine wildlife from the water or while hiking in the area.

Cole's Moosehorn Cabins is your four-season destination and base camp while exploring the Baxter State Park, Penobscot River and Katahdin Iron Works. We have trailside access for sledders in the winter and ATV's in the summer.
